\/ = 5 years<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\" rowspan=\"6\">Theory and practical examination. 1 year of practical experience in examining\/inspecting lifting accessories. MBO mechanical engineering level 2 qualification.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Theory and practical examination during the final six months of the validity period. Meeting all requirements specified below provides exemption from the theory examination. <\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">During the annual EKH audit, traceably demonstrate that various lifting and hoisting accessories used under different operating conditions (customers) have been examined. <em>(EKH Auditor statement to be submitted to DNV)<\/em><\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">+&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Between the 2nd and 4th year, one (1) sample audit on location. <em>(Audit report available to DNV)<\/em><\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">+<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Participation in at least one (1) Inspector Day every 2.5 years. <em>(Notification from EKH to DNV)<\/em><\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">+<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Successfully complete 4 out of 5 annual tests in the EKH Academy.<br><em>(Notification from EKH to DNV)<\/em><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">If an Inspector Day is not attended during the first period, attendance at the next Inspector Day is mandatory. The Inspector Day for the second period must subsequently also be attended. This late attendance at an Inspector Day will be charged to the employer.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">If a sample audit is not completed during the specified period (between the 2nd and 4th year of certificate validity), an additional sample audit must be completed within 6 weeks of the verification date; this will be charged to the employer. The sample audit during the next specified period (between the 2nd and 4th year of certificate validity) must also take place. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fall Protection Examination within Below the Hook<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After completing the <strong>EKH Below-the-Hook Inspector Training<\/strong>, the inspector is also able to assess fall protection equipment. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ekh.nl\/cursus-keurmeester-valbeveiliging\/\">fall protection examination course<\/a> is included in this programme because these products form part of the inspection and examination of lifting and hoisting accessories and related safety equipment. This includes, among other things, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ekh.nl\/veiligheidsharnas-keuren\/\">safety harnesses<\/a>, lanyards, carabiners and other components of personal fall protection.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This course qualifies inspectors as EKH Inspectors &ndash; Lifting and Hoisting Accessories.
