Above the Hook
🟡 Course dates – Above the Hook

Please note: the course will only start if there are sufficient registrations. Early registration is recommended. If there is additional interest, extra dates may be scheduled.

🟡 Inspector Days – Above the Hook
To maintain the EKH certificate, participation in at least one Inspector Day every 2.5 years is mandatory.
- EKH Members automatically receive a registration form.
- Non-members can also register via a separate form (behind the login or available upon request).
- The number of places is limited; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Starting dates:
- 7 September 2026 – Course Day (07:30 – 16:00)
- 2 November 2026 – Course Day (07:30 – 16:00)

The course will only start if there are sufficient registrations. Additional dates will be scheduled if there is sufficient interest.

🟡 Inspector Days – Below the Hook
To maintain the EKH certificate, Below-the-Hook Inspectors must participate in an Inspector Day at least once every 2.5 years.

- The number of places is limited – registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additional information
The EKH-Courses for EKH Inspector – Below the Hook and Above the Hook are provided by VTC. After successful completion, participants receive a personal certificate of competence issued by DNV.
Course Addresses:
The Below-the-Hook course takes place at:

The Above-the-Hook course takes place at:

Both courses include lunch.
Inspector Day Address:
The Below-the-Hook and Above-the-Hook Inspector Days take place at:
Koninklijke Metaalunie, Einsteinbaan 1, 3439 NJ Nieuwegein.
These days also include lunch.
Examination Addresses
The examinations are administered by TECH Examination Centre.
For the Below-the-Hook course, the examinations take place at:
